A NEW TEAM
Today we’ve left Tana with less luggage and less… people! At five o’clock this morning everybody had to start facing the fact that Jennifer and Margherita had left us, following the undisputable decision of our team leader. Soon, we’ve all started to miss them madly, as they had lived and breathed the first, most demanding and intense month of the 2011 Donnavventura expedition right here with us. Margherita’s outreaching personality and Jennifer’s sweet smiles are something we will miss for a long, long time. Personally, I will never forget them as we immediately became very good and close friends at the beginning of our Malagasy adventure.
I was thinking abouth them again today, right here in this lovely Diégo Bay, whising they would fly back and enjoy this wonderful place and its magnificent landscapes with us.
But our expedition management judgment cannot be disputed, nor questioned as these are the rules of any Donnavventura adventure. I hope each one of us will be able to do her very best until the end of our “mission”, thus offering an outstandingly pleasing performance to our team leader. It won’t be easy, I am sure, but we will all go for it as the adventure goes on and on…
